Special Olympics Pennsylvania Monroe County provides year-round
sports training to children (8 years +) and adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities.
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

POCONO RACEWAY
Once again this year, Monroe County Special Olympics will be working at the Pocono Raceway during the Nascar races. The dates are July 5,6, & 7 and August 2, 3, 4 2013. This is a great fundraiser for us. Volunteers are needed to work at the track. Your pay is donated to our county program.
